weekend photos

we bought a new doggie!! german shepherd... just 2 months old so kyut na kyut pa sya. and he has bunny ears!! hehehe. meet KIKO:

kyut no?!? super malambing sya. :) at inangkin na agad ang stress ball ko!
sa cartimar namin nabili... at ang dami pang kyoot na doggies don!! lalo na itong isang shitzu na 'to. gusto ko na talagang ipabili sa daddy ko... kaya lang, 15 thou! exaj naman... pero kyut pa rin! hehehe. pinangalanan ko na nga eh kasi nakikipaglaro na agad sa akin. KITCHY name nya. hwekekekekek. after kitchie nadal. :D sana bigyan ako sa birthday ko. ;)
dati gusto ko rin ng shar-pei. yung kulukulubot ang balat na sobrang mukhang towel na!! kaya lang, sabi nung mom ng girlfriend ng kapatid ko, di na daw kyoot yung shar-pei pag lumaki. sobrang lumuluwag daw yung balat. wawa naman... eto isang shar-pei na mejo matanda na. mukha ng lolo!
eto naman yung namatay naming great dane na si MOOKIE. huhuhu. nakakalungkot naman tuwing nakikita ko yung pic nya na ito:

kanina naaliw ako dun sa isang canteen sa may complex dito sa amin. bakit? dahil sa pangalan nya. may originality pa rin naman ang mga pinoy kahit papano!

MASAYA PALA AKO! HAHAHAHAHA!!
hwehehehehe. astig talaga mga OPM ngayon no? yung mga alternative lalo. after bamboo's noypi, grabe, ang gaganda na ng mga songs ngayon. favorite ko na kayong lahat, mwahahahaha! bamboo, rivermaya, kitchie nadal, spongecola, 6 cycle mind (the best ang biglaan), kjwan, mojofly, cambio (though di talaga ako makahanap sa limewire ng songs nila, sadness...), imago, itchyworms (can somebody please find me buwan? di ko talaga ma-dl sa limewire!!), sandwich, and of course my super kaduperest favorite, sugarfree!! ba't ko sila favorite? kasi schoolmate ko po si ebe, ang kanilang lead vocalist. pareho kaming ruralite! yay!! side kwento: ever since lumabas ang album ng sugarfree na SA WAKAS, di na ako bumili ng pirated cd's... na OPM! hwehehehehe. naisip ko kasi, kawawa naman yung mga upcoming bands kung di sila kikita dahil sa pirata... so ayun, basta pinoy, orig! oh my god i'm so high ata... puro !!!. pano ba naman, tumungga ako ng 2 cups coffee. yeah, tinungga ko talaga. natakot kasi akong mag-isa sa baba ng dorm kaya dali-dali kong ininom yung coffee ko. tsk, kelangan kasing mag-aral para sa STS (science, technology and society) na yan eh. what a waste of time. and effort. tsssss. but i digress...
back to OPM. may alam ba kayong radio station na nag-pplay ng puro OPM? yun ngang mga aforementioned ko na bands ha, hindi mga novelty songs, bwehehehe. meron daw sa NU kaya lang di ko alam kung anong day/oras.
ayan, kakatapos ko ang mag-rip. tama kaya ginawa ko? minsan, kinakain ako ng bagong teknolohiya eh... hihihi.

day ONE

i'm going to do the south beach diet. haaaay. after the christmas break i found out na nag gain ako ng 2 kgs! hmph.

so what's the south beach diet? it's basically low carbs high protein. mas okay lang nga sya sa atkins kasi i'll get to eat good carbs din naman... eventually. based on my own understanding (ge, correct me if i'm wrong), the principle behind this diet is that because the body cannot burn carbohydrates as its source of energy (kasi nga you lessen your carbs intake), it would burn the fats instead. yeah, goodbye flab! and if i remember correctly from my zoo 10 class which seemed eons ago, fat is actually a more efficient source of energy than carbs. parang ganon kaya nga lang it's not as readily available as carbs.

the diet is comprised of 3 phases. during the first 2 weeks (phase one), there will be no carbs AT ALL. only lean meat. no fruits also because they contain sugar. by the end of phase one, i should have lost some 8-13 pounds already. phase two is when i start to introduce some good carbs back in my diet. like fruits and i think whole wheat bread. after each week of phase two, i would still be losing some 1-2 pounds. phase 2 lasts until i reach my desired weight. then comes phase three. i think phase three is when i can almost eat anything i want but since i'm not used to eating big servings anymore, i would be able to regulate my food intake unconsciously.

so starting today, i bid farewell to my best friends go nut donuts and chocolates! haaaay. i'll miss you all. i'll see you all again when i'm 49 kgs. tears... :(

according to this SITE, the medical reccomendation for my gender (F) and height (5'1") is 49-60 kgs. halllow! 60 is FAT AND BOCHOG na kaya for me. so 49 na lang, hehehe. my BMI (Body Mass Index) is currently 22.9 kg/m^2 and i fall within the normal range/ideal weight which is 19.1-25.8 for women. unbelievable! baka naman not for asians ito. but i feel fat na talaga eh so i'll really try to lose weight.

for breakfast today, i ate tuna flakes guisado and drank a tall glass of water only.
