jumping on the (acoustic) bandwagon

what genre does freestyle belong to anyways? they're back! and they sound very very much acoustic with their song once in a lifetime. Top sounds more like a roguish but sweet rockstar than the croony balladeer that he was. their songs are really nice but the lyrics and tune are so catchy that almost everyone ends up liking their songs and then un-liking them after a while because everyone likes them already. am i making sense here? i've got once in a lifetime stuck in my head after hearing it played over and over again by my brother. on the radio and on the guitar. i have yet to decide if i like it though. hehehe. here are the lyrics:

i miss songs tht have so much meaning in them. nowadays, most of them are just about getting some, if you know what i mean. that's why i'm now more inclined to listen to artists i wouldn't dare mention here because you probably wouldn't recognize them. but your PARENTS would. :p i'm manang NA like that. hehehe. getting old(er) is definitely catching up on me. :)
